Full-time or part-time nannies

Lotus Mother selects the best possible and most suitable Mandarin or Cantonese speaking nanny candidates for your family. All of our nannies are passionate about looking after children. Most of our candidates have additional qualifications in child development or speech therapy, amongst others, or they have completed child special needs training courses. Some have experience teaching Mandarin or Cantonese, or other subjects such as maths and drama. Several nannies play musical instruments and have taught music to children.

What does a nanny do?

A nanny provides childcare for one or more children in the parents’ own home.

Full-time nannies usually work 8 – 12 hours a day for 5 days a week. The nanny’s work schedule and duties can be discussed between parents and nanny and incorporated in the employment contract.

Part-time nannies work no more than 20 hours per week. They can help out with childcare in the mornings, after school or even on weekends.
